Once a booming lumber town, Ludington also has a rich maritime heritage. These days, the miles of beaches and sand dunes lure summer resorters and vacationers. Kilwin's is another of the city's attractions. "I personally believe that Kilwin's has the best ice cream and fudge I've ever tasted anywhere," Sue said.
