| | | Owned by Bill and Kathy Williamson (owners of the two Kilwin's locations in Blowing Rock) and longtime friend/Kilwin's manager Jeff Brandon, Kilwin's of Wilmington opened in the early summer of 2001. The new venture together seemed a natural consequence of the friendship built on trust, hard work and a successful working past-which is much the same recipe for the success and growth of any Kilwin's business. Many Kilwin's owners find that opening a second, third or even fourth shoppe is almost inevitable. Whether it's the Kilwin's reputation for old-fashioned quality, or the Kilwin's customers who return again and again to savor an indulgence or two, it's always about relationships and making people happy. |
