Kilwin's of St. Augustine opened in November 1997 as a treasure chest of opportunities for Jerry and Lisa Dallaire. Founded in 1565 by the Spanish, the city is the oldest in the United States. It is rich in conquistador history and lots of tourist business. Kilwin's is located on the oldest street in the country. The buildings on St. George Street that once belonged to Spanish officials and merchants now house quaint shops and restaurants that cater to tourists now that the threat of pirates has gone. Jerry and Lisa have two other treasures, their children, Kyle and Cameron.
