Our story begins with our founders, Don and Katy Kilwin. Opening the first Kilwins store in 1947, Don and Katy sought to fulfill their dream of crafting top-quality treats and providing stellar customer service.

In doing so, we finally developed ways to give you only the best in every serving. We store our batches in custom ice cream containers and deliver them to our Saugatuck ice cream store using temperature-regulated vans to maintain freshness and ideal temperature.
