The whole production process is controlled by Kilwins — only we know how to make our products look and taste perfect. Every piece of chocolate is handmade by our in-house professionals.

The origin of Kilwins takes us back to 1947. Husband and wife Don and Katy Kilwin shared a passion for dessert, which led them to open the first Kilwins store in Petoskey, MI. They started selling humble batches of baked goods and chocolates — little did they know how successful their small-town chocolate store would become.
Within the next few years, various new items were added to the Kilwins menu, including fudge, caramel, peanut brittle, and our “Perfect” Caramel Apples. The Kilwins went on to craft our signature TUTTLE™ Nut Caramels, adding even more diversity to the lineup.
