Temperature Sensitive Items
To be considerate of the routing and timing of our shipping partners, all heat-sensitive items are shipped via 2-day Shipping between May 1 through September 30 to all parts of the country. During this period, insulation and cold packaging are also included in the shipment to ensure the quality of our products. During this period, areas experiencing temperatures over 85 degrees may be required to ship via overnight service with additional cold packaging considerations.
Order and Shipping Schedule
At Kilwins, we hand-craft our chocolates and candies daily, just for you. With that in mind, there are some timing considerations to be aware of for your order.
- Orders Placed Monday-Thursday before 11:00 AM EST will be shipped the same day
- Orders placed Monday-Wednesday after 11:00AM EST will be shipped the next day
- Orders placed after 11:00AM EST on Wednesday and until 11:00AM EST Monday will be shipped Monday.
***For orders containing Caramel Apples, the shipment may go out up to 48 hours after the order is placed. This allows us to dip and coat Caramel Apples to order and ensure a maximum amount of time for enjoyment (not that we think you’ll need it!)
