Original Recipe Ice Cream
Since 1985, we have been making Kilwins Original Recipe Ice Cream and today there are over 40 of the highest-quality unique and delicious flavors made especially for you. We began perfecting our Original Recipe Ice Cream in small batches, and today continue the tradition of excellence, using only fresh antibiotic-free, rbST-free milk and cream from family farms. Our select ingredients are combined into a premium base mix which is pasteurized and homogenized and then combined with fudge, caramel, nuts, chocolate chips, and other quality confections. Our Ice Cream is then creamily and expertly frozen into specially designed tubs that protect the superior quality of Kilwins Original Recipe Ice Cream. Finally the Ice Cream is super cooled and stored at minus twenty degrees and shipped only on Kilwins’ own trucks, ensuring quality at ten degrees below zero.
Today our customers enjoy the same traditional quality of our Original Recipes in all Kilwins stores, and with our fresh-made Waffle Cones and hand-made Fudge and Caramel toppings, you will always find your perfect scoop.
Mackinac Island Fudge
Our creamy Mackinac Island Fudge comes from our original recipes developed by Don & Katy Kilwin. Having purchased a marble table in 1948, Don Kilwin began hand-crafting Fudge shortly thereafter. Over the years we have added many flavors that are enjoyed in all of our stores and throughout the country. We think it was the best Fudge ever made then and the best you'll ever enjoy today! Chocolate is our #1 Top Seller, but also try our signature Turtle Fudge or any of our other flavors.
Hand Crafted Chocolates
When Don and Katy Kilwin began hand-crafting Chocolates in the late 40's, they used only the finest chocolate and other ingredients. Today our assorted Chocolates are still hand-crafted in our kitchen in Petoskey, MI, using the same recipes developed by Don Kilwin, and today, we make our own proprietary Heritage Chocolate. Whether it be our signature TUTTLE™ Nut Caramels, smooth and decadently rich Truffles or our soft silky Creams, one bite and you'll know why people have loved Kilwins Chocolates for generations. A variety of Boxed Chocolates are available.

In the mood for a Caramel Apple? The "Perfect" Apple starts with the best Granny Smith apples available, hand-dipped in our handmade Caramel. Our original recipe Caramel was developed by Don Kilwin and is still cooked in traditional copper kettles. Smooth and creamy with just the right amount of chewiness, our Caramel has been satisfying customers for generations. In store pricing may vary.

Our hand-crafted Caramel Corn and Brittle are made fresh for you in traditional copper kettles. Try our signature Nutcracker Sweets, combining popped corn, almonds, pecans, and caramel for that perfect sweet and nutty taste sensation. For our hand-crafted Brittle, we use only the finest nuts available and combine them with our kitchen-made brittle candy with just the right amount of saltiness for that perfect salty sweet flavor combination.
